and one-time charge rates are also supported.
Supports the voiding of a utility bill already
posted, reversing the readings, consumption, billing charges and the related journal
entries. Allows you to recalculate charges selectively, produce net adjustments, and
generate corrected bills.
Allows you to estimate
consumption for a complete route or routes in the event of emergencies or for all unread
meters, and produce bills. Consumption estimates can be based upon a 5 year period
average, or a user-defined rolling monthly average.
Ability to age accounts
in user defined ageing periods or in 30, 60, 90 days periods.
Provides the ability to
classify different types of users for each service even though they may be billed on the
same rate structure for that service.
Maintains customer and property information on
services billed, meter types, serial numbers, user defined comments, and monetary and
consumption history of charges, adjustments, payments, and readings.
Allows unlimited notes
and customer correspondence for a customer and service address. The customer notes follow
a customer, address notes stay with the service address.
Maintains customer and service address information,
such as bill codes, credit information, multiple billing addresses, owner, resident,
guarantor, meter type, serial number, and work orders.
Tracks detail service order transactions as well as
financial transactions for a service address and meter number.
Accesses utility
accounts by account number, name, service address, social security number, tax id, drivers
license number, telephone number,
resident name, or your old account number.
Inquiry screens include
basic account information, deposit information,
installed meters, work order history, aging balances, comments, transaction, consumption,
and billing history, credit arrangements and
contract status.
Tracks all meters in service, in storage, or in
repair.
Maintains complete meter
data at each location, including type service, meter serial number, size, type, make,
note, multiplier, price, date purchased, date installed, last date repaired.
Provides a history of all
meters that have installed at the service address. This history includes the date a meter
was removed, the meter serial number and last reading.
Creates work orders automatically from new account
set-up, meter change-out, and account closing transactions. New accounts set-up
allows you to take the applicant information, print a service order for a final bill, and
as soon as a meter reading is obtained, to calculate a final bill with deposit applied and
print it on demand.
Supports meter exchanges,
printing each meter reading and consumption, a message that the meters were exchanged, and
total consumption and amount on the next bill.
Computes penalties and
late fees on delinquent accounts according to user defined criteria. These charges may be
immediately posted to the account or be added to the next month's bill as a separate item.
Provides past due notices
automatically and generates a cut off list after reviewing for possible revisions if
necessary. Cut-offs may be
posted to the account, automatically generating a cut-off service order. Some accounts may be flagged
to be exempted from penalty, cutoff, or both.
Allows you to reprint any
customers' bill at a service counter for all charges due, and show past due as well as
current amounts.
Creates deposit refund
checks after a predetermined time, or when the account is finaled. Deposits are
automatically transferred from the old account to the new account when a customer
transfers to another account.
