Software Gains approval From the State of
Texas as a Qualified Information Systems Vendor
SALISBURY, MD - June 1, 2001. MainStreet Software
Corporation, a provider of software solutions for local governments, has announced that
its MainStreetTM Software has been approved by the
state of Texas for inclusion on the state’s list of Qualified Information Systems Vendors (QISV).
“Approval as a QISV vendor is a great opportunity for
us," said company spokesman Matthew Falls. “Texas
local governments can now purchase MainStreetTM
Software without going through a lengthy review and evaluation process, thus streamlining
the purchasing process. This approval
represents the final step in moving forward with a number of cities and towns in Texas. We’re very excited about beginning
implementation over the next few weeks."
