Provides templates set up for GASB34 financial statement formats. You and your installer need only to tell statement writer what accounts are represented in cells. Online Statement Inquiry – View a list of accounts included in any statement line with the account balances and drill down to transaction detail. Statement Reconciliation – Statement Writer makes printing of the Reconciliation of the Statement of Revenues, Expenditures, and Changes in Fund Balance of Governmental Activities possible by assigning each Statement Account to a Reconciliation Statement Line. The Statement Writer then summarizes each reconciling item during statement printing. See the example attached. Shows the relationship between total fund balances, and the total changes in fund balances of governmental funds and net assets and the change in net assets of governmental activities, governments are required to present a summary reconciliation at the bottom of the governmental fund balance sheet and statement of revenues, expenditures, and changes in fund balances. Allows accounts to be flagged as Statistical Accounts. Journal Entries can be made to these accounts but they are excluded from the traditional general ledger and their activity can be reported separately. Differences included on the Reconciliation statement are represented in the Statistical Accounts. |
