MainStreet™ Transfer Meter Readings
Interface module provides an interface between MainStreet™ and your Route
Management Software. This application is used to upload and download meter
readings. This product includes the following download features that
help in transferring service address information to your route management
software database:

Build Download File - This function
transfers accounts you select by book or route to a file that will be used
to prepare the Route Look Up Table Handheld with accounts for meter reading.

Prepare Route Look Up Table - This
function creates a text file in the format used by the software used to
download your routes in the hand-held.

Route Look Up Table Listing
- This function provides a report that lists all of the accounts in
the text file used by the software used to download your routes in the
hand-held.
This product includes the following
upload features that help you in transferring your readings from your route
management database over to MainStreet™.

Transfer Readings from Hand-Held - This
function transfers readings from a test file created by the Route Manager
into your MainStreet™ Billing database.

Meter Readings Uploaded List
- This function provides a report that lists all of the account and
meter readings received from the Route Management software used by your
hand-held.

Build Billing Transactions - This
function creates Meter Reading Billing transactions using the reading
transferred.
MainStreet™ does not unload route
information directly from your hand-held nor download services address
information directly to the hand-held computer. You will need to purchase and
use the communication software provided or recommended by the manufacturer of
you hand-held (i.e., Route Manager (RMW), Logicon, Slaumberger, Itron, Sensus,
Radix, etc.) to load and unload the file.
