General Ledger Transaction Import

The MainStreet^TM General Ledger Transaction Import allows you to import GL transactions from a 3rd party General Ledger system.  The transactions can be edited, and then printed for validation and review before posting them into MainStreet^TM General Ledger.

Use this interface to eliminate the chance of keying error when transactions are directly imported into MainStreet^TM, and reduce  the need for Finance department employees to enter manual journal entries.

This product includes the following features:

Import GL Transactions - This function allows you to create a GL Transaction batch to import the file that contains the GL Transaction from the 3rd party General Ledger application.  Before you purchase the MainStreet^TM GL Transaction Import, be certain to have your GL software provider approve the file format used by MainStreet in order to avoid unexpected charges necessary by your provider or MainStreet.

Print GL Transactions - This function allows you to print an edit report showing all GL transactions that were imported from the 3rd party General Ledger application.  The GL Transaction Journal can be edited, reviewed, and validated before posting.
