Departmental Time Entry MainStreetTM Departmental Time Entry allows users to enter timesheets at the departmental level. A Time Transaction Journal can be printed by each department that allows the time information to be verified. Only the Payroll department is authorized for final payroll processing. Time Sheet Entry You can use MainStreetTM Departmental Time Entry to enter employee time sheets at each department. The Time Entry is limited based on a users group assignment. The group the user is assigned is limited to enter or inquire for only the employees in a department that the user is authorized for. During Departmental Time Entry, you can edit the default time transactions, add new transactions, and calculate Gross Pay. Net Pay calculation, and overriding of Deductions or Withholdings are not permitted. When complete, the next employee displays in alphabetical or code sequence, until completion. The Batch Transaction Journal is printed, then electronically approved, and forwarded to Payroll for processing. Reports and Screens
